[Results] Professor LIAN is good at using classical prescriptions and current prescriptions to treat chronic diarrhea. According to the characteristics of diarrhea, to identify the viscera, cold and heat, asthenia and sthenia and flexible combination of prescriptions. Weakness of the spleen and the stomach using Shenling Baizhu Powder to nourish qi to invigorate spleen;Patients of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency are treated by Tongxieyao Formula to repress liver and supporting spleen;Sishen pill and decoction of four mild drugs treatment of spleen and kidney yang-deficiency by invigorating spleen and kidney;Patients of coldheat complex are treated by Wumei Pill to warm and nourish the stomach. [Conclusion] Professor's experience in treating chronic diarrhea is well worth learning for it always gets outstanding effect.
